A software engineer by profession, Loewy works for Chainstarters, a software development company in Portland, Oregon, where he specializes in building mobile apps using React Native and troubleshooting GraphQL issues.

His technical expertise spans a five-year stint in the construction industry, where he worked as a construction specialist and permit coordinator, showcasing his versatility and strong work ethic.

Loewy’s educational journey included attending the International School of Boston from 2003 to 2010, where he was involved in the drama club, perhaps a nod to his father’s theatrical roots.

However, his career trajectory veered toward technology, reflecting his independent spirit and desire to forge his own path. Despite his professional success, Loewy gained public attention in 2020 when he was arrested at a Black Lives Matter protest in Portland, Oregon, on charges of interfering with a peace officer and second-degree disorderly conduct.
